Now We Are 30
I really like being thirty. No, really, I'm serious. I feel like the weight of my ignorant youth is off me and I can relax without all of that arrogance. It isn't entirely the birthday that did this. My therapy has had quite an effect as well. But I certainly get a different perspective from 30 than I did from 29. 29 is an ending, 30 is a beginning. I've stepped through a door and I like the view from here better.
