Too Many Quotation Marks  
Often people use the word "innocence" when really they mean "ignorance". "Innocence lost" is usually used to mean losing your ignorance about "worldly things" (evil). As if knowing about evil makes you evil, like the mere knowledge of it stains you. Innocence isn't lack of knowledge about evil. Innocence is knowing about evil and, in the face of this knowledge, proceeding from a place of good inside yourself.
